Last week a group of Year 13 pupils attended St George’s market for Young Enterprise’s Big Market event.

Since October the pupils with guidance from a business advisor, Mr Richard Snape who is a past pupil of Wellington College and owner of The Wooden Floor Company, have created their company BAX and product ‘wee BAX’ as part of the Company Programme Competition.

The picture shows one of our students Bailey Camack presenting the ‘wee BAX’ to the Lord Mayor of Belfast Nuala McAllister

The pupils were judged on a number of areas including enterprise, the journey travelled, organisation and management and results. The judges were extremely interested in the product and commended the team of their work so far. This programme will run until March when the team will attend a judging session for Young Enterprise Company of the Year.
