As a school community, Wellington College is taking part in the World’s Largest Lesson. Time will be spent in classes during the week 23rd - 25th October 2017 learning about the United Nations 17 Goals for Sustainable Development. The Global Goals were established in 2015 when 189 countries met to plan ways they could tackle issues of extreme poverty, inequality and climate change across the planet.

Alongside lessons and lunchtime events in school we will be partnering with local charity Storehouse to help solve issues of food poverty in our own city. We are inviting pupils to take action on the issue of food poverty by donating food items.

If you would like to donate, please buy a few items off the list below and leave them in the trolley outside the office from Monday to Wednesday.

Thank you for all your support as we seek to end food poverty in our local area.
