On Monday 19th June, 40 pupils and 5 members of staff met at 7.15am at Wellington College to depart by coach for our five day trip to Barcelona.

During our guided tour on the first day we saw many of the famous sights Barcelona has to offer and then during the week we paid longer visits to the Aquarium, the Nou Camp stadium, Montserrat monastery, the Olympic Stadium and Montjuic Castle and, possibly the highlight for many, a full day at Port Aventura theme park.

We also had very active evenings spent bowling, singing karaoke, visiting the local amusement arcades and attending the awards ceremony on the beach for the final evening where the beautiful sunset made it more memorable.

The trip was a wonderful way to experience Spanish culture first hand and some pupils were confident enough to speak Spanish.  The pupils were a credit to the College.
