Science Club

The Science Club  meets on a Thursday afternoon and continues to give students the opportunity to investigate and share Science ideas in a fun and interesting way.
Ideas investigated this year include:

  • Painting with acids and alkalis
  • Optical illusions
  • Why Diet Coke floats but ordinary Coke sinks
  • What is the biggest fountain you can get when Mentos are added to Diet Coke?
  • How far can balloon rockets travel?
  • 'Eggcellent Landings'
  • Science games on the internet eg knee surgery etc

So if you are keen on finding out more about the Science Club then see Mrs Johnston or come along to Lab 102 on Thursday.
