 During November Wellington College Belfast proudly presented Grease to widespread acclaim. The production starred the talents of Simon Forbes as Danny and Grace Kerr as Sandy, James Moore, Rhys Harper, Gary McAlister and Jamie Frazer as the lively T Birds; Rebecca Nannery, Jordanne Bowers, Carol Brown and Hannah Francey as the effervescent Pink Ladies; all capable supported by Chris McFarland, Hannah Campbell, Biance Poole and Jonathon English.

Sandy has arrived at Rydell High School and begins to try settling in. hoowever, when her past relationship with Danny, the leader of the T Birds, comes to light, she finds the Pink Ladies less than accepting. Grease follows the story of Sandy and Danny, as she tries to make friends and fit in and as he tries to combine his macho image with the feelings he has for his girlfriend.

Once again this is another spectacularly fun show, with what was probably the best feeling of camaraderie among the cast, chorus and crew that I can remember. Hopefully the photos, around the school and on this page, will give you a flavour of what was a very special week in the Wellington calendar.
