Una Discamus
Ramada Hotel

One crisp evening, on Saturday 20th November the Woodwind Quartet (Lauren Montgomery, Amy Johnston-Wood, Beverley Hill and Mrs McCloskey) arrived at the Ramada Hotel in Belfast where they had been asked to play at a charity function for Multiple Sclerosis. We chose to play a variety of tranquil pieces which would serve well as background music creating a relaxing ambiance for the evening. Included in the program were pieces such as ‘Hungarian Dance ‘ by Johanne Brahms, ‘Morning ‘ by Grieg and extracts from ‘The Tales Of Vienna Woods’ by Johann Strauss II. The whole evening turned out to be very successful and the Woodwind Group felt privileged to have taken part in such a worthy event.
