Paper One: Section B (25%)
Peace, War and Neutrality: Britain, Northern Ireland and Ireland and the Second World War 1932 - 1949.
This includes sections on:
1. Anglo-Irish relationships before World War II
2. Experience of and response to World War II
3. Post-war relationships
Paper 2 Outline Study: 1 ¼ hours (30%)
The Cold War and its resolution, 1945 - 1991.
GCSE History Coursework (20%)
The coursework topic at GCSE History is ‘The Final Solution' which deals with the Nazi persecution and genocide of the Jewish community during the 1930's and 1940's. It is worth 20% of the overall examination marks.
